CNC Machininst/Operator

Job Summary

Quality Products & Machine is seeking qualified CNC machinists. This is an entry-level position. We pay top dollar for highly-motivated and qualified candidates to work in a dynamic, fast-paced ISO 9001 certified air-conditioned job shop.

Description

This is a first-shift position with the opportunity for overtime. The candidate must meet the following criteria (examples of essential function): 

– Set up and run 3-Axis VMC, 4-Axis HMC, and/or 3-Axis Turning Centers

– Set up jobs in accordance with instructions and supplemental documentation

– Ensure said instructions and documentation are updated with each part run

– Inspect parts at designated intervals in accordance with job requirements to ensure compliance with customer specifications

– Ensure machining processes are documented in accordance with job routing instructions

– Recognize and recommend improvements to machining processes for the purpose of increasing process reliability

– Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with LEAN principles and promote continous improvement

Physical Requirements:

– Ability to stand for a full work shift

– Ability to lift 50 lbs.
