Kevin Farmer, President
Kevin joined Quality Products in 1983 and steadily worked his way up through the organization. He was named President in March 2019, having previously served as Vice President & General Manager, Quality Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Fabrication & Plant Manager, laser cutting programmer & operator, welder, and precision fabricator.
Patrick Mayne, Operations Manager
Patrick began his career with Quality Products in 2013, initially serving as lead machinist. He was promoted to Machining Manager in 2018 and then to Operations Manager in 2020. Pat is spearheading the company’s lean manufacturing efforts. He previously worked for Firestone in Charlotte and attended Central Piedmont Community College.
Greg Donaldson, Fabrication & Shipping Manager
Greg started his career at Quality Products in 2002 as a fabricator/welder. He was promoted to Fabrication Manager in 2003, and then took on the added responsibilities of Shipping Manager in 2018. Prior to joining Quality Products, Greg worked at Fabtech Industries in Charlotte as a fabricator/welder and attended Central Piedmont Community College.
Thomas Miller, Machining Manager
Thomas began his employment with Quality Products in 2018. He has made important contributions as a CNC programmer/operator and assisted with equipment troubleshooting, new teammate training and fixture development.
Thomas previously worked for Industrial Machine Company.
Chevelle King, Office Manager
Chevelle joined Quality Products in 2020 after serving for six years as service office manager for Chiron America, the US subsidiary of Chiron Group, a leading German-based manufacturer of CNC vertical mills, lathes and flexible machining centers.
She previously worked for Hyundai Merchant Marine as export-import coordinator and accounts payable specialist. Chevelle attended Strayer University and majored in accounting.
Scott Zagora, Estimating & Business Development
Scott started at Quality Products in 2013 as a CNC machinist. He was promoted to machine shop supervisor in 2014, and then took on his present role in estimating and business development in 2018. Scott previously worked for his family’s gear manufacturing firm in Charlotte and for ECS Enterprises in Concord, NC.
Laura Henderson, Accounting
Laura joined Quality Products in 2015 as accounting assistant. She handles all AR and AP responsibilities. Laura previously worked as an office manager for Platt Construction in Charlotte, virtual assistant for Tamed Office in Charlotte, office coordinator at SCA FabTool in Charlotte, and accounting assistant to the executive/management team at ITT/NexGen in Dulles, VA.
Jennifer Alfaro, Customer Service
Jennifer started at Quality Products in 2017, with responsibilities as receptionist and assistant to the office manager. Her duties have expanded to include various customer service roles. Jennifer previously worked at Roundpoint Mortgage as a correspondence inflow analyst and customer service representative. She completed her certificate in human resource management from the University of Phoenix in 2017.
Gary Holcomb, CEO
Gary serves as CEO of Quality Products as well as its sister companies Advanced Machining & Tooling and Tri-Tec Industries along with their parent company, Compass Precision. He joined these organizations in October 2019 in conjunction with their acquisition by Main Street Capital Holdings, a Pittsburgh-based private equity firm. Gary previously was CEO of Coining, Inc, President & CEO of Dawar Technologies, Inc, Vice President & General Manager of Fisher Scientific Company’s Lab Equipment Division, and General Manager of Dynamet Inc’s Forged Products Division. He graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Paul Wilhelm, Vice President & CFO
Paul joined Compass Precision, Quality Products’ parent company, in February of 2020 as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Like Gary, he has a strong CNC machining industry background. Paul worked for Paragon Metals from 2016 through early 2020, most recently as the firms’ Chief Financial Officer. Paragon machines tight-tolerance, precision-engineered metal components for the automotive industry.
Previously, he served in various accounting and finance roles for several other Charlotte-area manufacturing companies including IntraPac International, a speciality packaging company manufacturing plastic, laminate, tin and aluminum products. Paul has a BS in Business Administration and an MS in accounting, both from Georgia Southern University.
